I only just found out about Brian's passing, literally just a few minutes ago. I've only known Brian for about a year but he gave me a lot of words of encouragement regarding my desire to get into medical school, particularly as a non-traditional, 49 year old Black male. When I was notified of my acceptance, he was one of the first to congratulate me. He motivated a lot of students and worked tirelessly to help others achieve their dreams; he will be missed. My condolences and prayers to his family and friends.

Brian, Literally you are the only person I know that didn't have any earthly enemies. Why? Because of who you genuinely were. You were born of great stock and just like your parents in so many ways. You've been nothing less than a friend. I appreciate our many conversations, laughter, and childhood memories. Thanks for always lifting me up and holding me accountable as a brother, friend, and proud member of our grand fraternity KAPPA ALPHA PSI INC. You are gone but never forgotten. Rest On Good NUPE! 🙏🏽 Love You Bro.... 👌🏽♦️👌🏽

Brian was always loving, caring and kind to everyone. Your family in Chattanooga will truly miss you. When he was younger the Allen children always came to Chattanooga for the summer to play soft ball, coached by Jerry and Greg. Whatever event was going on in Chat Town Brian was always there. He loved to play chess and board games with his cousins. Brian loved family and the family loved him. "We love you Brian but God loved you best go on and take your Rest." Sadly missed by Clay, Dixon, Beverly, Lewis, Allen, and Watkins Families.
There aren't words to describe the ache in my heart at the thought that I have to live the rest of my natural life without my brother of the heart. You left an incredible legacy, and I'm honored that Jaden gets to be a part of it. 💙💛
