Obituary For Eugene Smith, Sr.

Eugene Smith, Sr., age 73, of Athens, GA passed September 5, 2023.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Ebenezer Baptist Church, West, 205 N. Chase Street, Athens, GA.

Survivors include: his wife, Connie Smith; six children, Eric Smith, Eugene, Jr. (Dana) Smith, Tarus (Catria) Smith, Reginald (Tisa) Smith, Trina Smith and Yosheika (Hodari) James; nephew raised in the home, Dante Smith; niece raised in the home, Riletta L. (Dedrick) Smith Baughns; 15 grandchildren; two devoted sisters, Mary Dunn and Susie Ford; two sisters in law, Ann Smith and Jackie Mathis; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
