Obituary For L. E. Johnson

L. E. Johnson, age 92, of Athens, GA passed May 22, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Little Valley Baptist Church, Nicholson, GA with interment in Evergreen Memorial Park. Viewing, Friday 3 PM - 7 PM, at the funeral home.

Survivors include: her sister, Hazel Watkins Roach; bonus sons, Billy and Tony Burgess; sisters in law, Carolyn T. Watkins and Victoria Huff Watkins; brother in law, Floyd Johnson; other relatives and friends.

Arrangements by Jackson-McWhorter Funeral Home.

    We are so sad to hear of the passing of Mrs L.E. She was the sweetest person. We extend our deepest condolences to the family. Our hearts are heavy and we share your pain. Mr. Lorenzo and Mrs. L.E. are together again and we know the angels in heaven are rejoicing. My mom and Mrs. L.E. were club sisters for a long, long time and she will truly miss talking with her.
