I love you, Leilani!! Sorry for not being there more especially in your adult years. I have plenty of memories before Makaelah came and then after when you and Makaelah were more like siblings. I remember that little girl that was your friend, that lived the next block over from School Street. I remember the calls from your school, just like your younger cousin... always being defiant and getting into trouble. You and Makaelah worked my last nerves, smh!! But still I always knew there was something you were seeking that I could not give or help you to find. I can hear your voice in my head and see your beautiful smile. Life can be hard and burdensome. Although, I know you are sleeping peacefully. I still wish you were able to experience more life especially with Skylar because kids grow so fast. I hope you knew how much you are loved!!!
