Mrs. Tribble was such an uplifting and beautiful lady. We met when I was an undergrad D9 member at UGA, and she was always encouraging me along my education journey for the past 20 years. Although we're not in the same sorority, she always cheered me on and gave me the timely boost of encouragement that was so helpful as a young mother. I will truly miss her, but continuing the unified work of the Athens Alumni NPHC which she chartered, along with others. She will truly be missed.

She was my first black teacher. My mother died in February of 79 and I started 4th grade in the fall and had Ms. Tribble. I was grieving, but she pushed me. I remember her telling me to make my momma proud by getting my education. She would not allow the tears and pain to paralyze me. I'm so grateful for her. She got to hear me preach and was so proud of me. To know I has also made her proud was a blessing to me. Rest In Power Ms. Tribble. Thank you and I love you.

Best teacher I ever had. I cross stitched her a dog when I was in the 4rth grade that she she said she kept displayed her home. She became my coworker on 1992 up until she retired. Wonderful teacher and friend. I thought of her often. Andre and Adrian you will be on my prayers.
