Rev. Floyd Brooks, age 94, of Athens, GA passed August 5, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 12, 2023 at New Zion City Missionary Baptist Church, Chicago, IL, with interment in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Hillside, IL.

    I remember a conversation I had with when I met him for the first time about his faith and was he a pastor. I told him me and our family are Christians and he told me that was good. He also came to my youngest daughter graduation and we sit dinner together. My son was so excited he was 91 and looked at him with respect and honor. He mad his presence know with my kids the first time they met him.
