Obituary For Robert Lee "Stick" Smith

Robert Lee "Stick" Smith, age 71, of Athens, GA passed January 28, 2021.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, February 4, 2021 at the graveside of East Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Public viewing, Wednesday 2-6 PM, at the funeral home.

Survivors include: wife, Brenda Smith; daughters, Pereshanda Smith, Brittany Smith, Vanessa Williams and Bonita Edwards; son, Derek Johnson; sisters, Nellie Barnett and Angela Asbell; 19 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.

I was pleased to meet my Cousin Robert Lee when I visited Athens back in 2003. He was my mom, Carrie Mae's favorite cousin on her paternal side. Every year, he sends me and my family a Christmas card. I pray that the Lord grants all of his friends and loved ones the peace and comfort that they need to carry on his legacy.
