Obituary For Sgt. Samuel K. Curry

Sgt. Samuel K. Curry age 33, of Chamblee, GA passed November 15, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Faith Temple Church of God in Christ, 1500 US-29 Athens, GA.
Viewing, Monday 2-6 PM, at the funeral home.
Survivors include: three children, Bryson Curry, Braelyn Curry and Kaleb Curry; his parents, Mary Benson and Samuel (Regena) Curry, III; siblings, Teresa Huff, Shardee' Curry and Jamal Benson; grandmother, Sylvia Woodall; and special friend, Zenia Torres.

    To the family of Sam Surry, I want to express my deepest sympathies for the loss of such a kind and wonderful person. The news of Mr. Curry's passing was an absolute shock to me. During his time in Savannah, Chatham County, I had the privilege of training him when he was hired by the Sheriff's Department. He was a passionate individual who found joy in working in law enforcement. To his family, I know that there are no words that can ease the pain of this unexpected loss, but I urge you to trust God through this process. Cherish onto the memories of Sam, for they will never die. Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot hear. As you embark on this last journey with Mr. Curry, my thoughts and prayers are with you.     Man bro I'm lost and hurting, I never thought standing and your kitchen with your family would be our last time spent. We laughed at how we use to run the neighborhood and the courts in the subdivision. I'd give it all to play a game or even laugh one more time bro. You left me on earth lonely bro, but I know I've gained another Angel 😇. Cover me King and I promise to live life and make sure u are remembered as the King you were.
